We are delighted to announce that our long term friend and supporter, John Simpson, will be presenting our BBC Radio 4 Charity Appeal. Our appeal will be broadcasted on 28th April at 07:54 and 21:25 and on 2nd May at 15:27.
John will be sharing the story of Eric, a journalist from Rwanda. He was forced to flee with his family after he was routinely threatened and harassed by the government for exercising his right to freedom of expression.
We hope that the fantastic combination of John and BBC Radio 4 will help us to increase public awareness about our work and to raise much needed funds for prisoners of conscience, like Eric, and their families.
